Since 1998, Harry H. Kazakian has excelled as the founder, chief executive officer, private investigator, and claims adjuster at USA Express Legal & Investigative Services Inc. Through expertise in insurance claims and criminal and civil matters investigations—from bad faith consulting to wrongful death—he and his team at the Los Angeles-based firm have successfully defended various clients across several types of cases. In his leadership role, he oversees day-to-day operations to direct investigations to the right path. He reviews reports, determining how to ensure justice for the case’s victims, many of whom suffered life-altering situations. Throughout his robust career, his mission has been to “never allow evil to succeed” and help those who need it the most.
In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Kazakian previously served as a high-exposure claims adjuster with the Automobile Club of Southern California from 1989 to 2010. He began his career as an emergency medical technician in Los Angeles County, where he was active from 1982 to 1997; during this formative role, he gained extensive experience in emergency medicine and treatment, including traumatic brain injury. As a testament to his excellence in the field, he was recognized as a member of the Ambulance Team of the Year in 1987 and volunteered his time and expertise as an emergency room triage for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Brought to the United States by his parents when he was 12, Mr. Kazakian entered the private investigation industry because the profession has fascinated him since he was young. He’s always loved solving puzzles to determine why something happened, whose fault it was, and how it could have been prevented. He would later became a certified criminal defense investigator through the California Association of Licensed Investigators and a certified private investigator through the School of Private Investigations.
Recently, Mr. Kazakian and his team of professionals at USA Express developed an innovative mobile application—USA Legal Intake—which has been expertly designed to drive client information into process servers and the files of private investigators in real time to aid attorneys and other legal professionals. Before committing his time to USA Express Legal & Investigative Services Inc., Mr. Kazakian served as an emergency medical technician as a first responder in Los Angeles between 1982 and 1997 and a high-exposure claims adjuster at the Automobile Club of Southern California between 1988 and 2009. With a rich background in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Mr. Kazakian is well-versed in emergency response services and cites his tenure as an EMT as one of the highlights of his professional career. To wit, he naturally gravitated toward a career in investigative services from a formative age and is particularly gratified by the work he has completed over the decades.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Kazakian has been awarded several accolades, including plaques for providing education and guidance in clerical support from the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and donations to the California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation. In 1987, he and his team were recognized as the Ambulance Team of the Year by Chief Allan Stone of the Glendale Fire Department.
Mr. Kazakian received a private investigator’s certificate from the School of Private Investigations in Atlanta in 2001. Alongside his academic background, he is a licensed independent claims adjuster with the California Department of Insurance and a licensed private investigator with the California Department of Consumer Affairs via the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. Mr. Kazakian is also a certified criminal defense investigator.
